Intro from our  SU President Jiji

Hi, I'm Jiji and I'm your SU President. Normally, the work of Students’ Unions is quite reactive to whatever crises are going on for the student experience and across the sector. For the first time in this Union and across the sectors as a whole, the Students’ Union at the University of Bath decided to do something different.

"Together We Shape Tomorrow" is our response to what we think the student experience is going to look like in the next few years. We went out and spoke to all of our students from different backgrounds and different years, and to prospective students who came to our open days. We asked them what their challenges are, what their concerns are for the future, and what they potentially see as the issues students will face in the next few years.

We had over 11,500 individual comments and with that, we prepared "Together We Shape Tomorrow," which is essentially a manifesto that's going to guide us through what can make Bath the best student experience in the world.

This is an invitation to the University as an institution, to our students in the community, and to us as student representatives, to work together to shape tomorrow in a way that’s going to improve student lives here and across the country.
