This year, RAG is supporting two charities via their student-led fundraising events. These events help to raise money for the Top Two, with a small allocation going to the Small Charity Grant and to RAG's operating costs.
The Top Two were voted for by students.

VOICES works together with people who have been affected by domestic abuse, whether in the past or more recently, to prevent harm and promote recovery. They aim to help families to recover and thrive. They do this through individual support and advocacy, and a suite of group recovery programmes.
Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC) provide emergency care to people who are in a state so critical that they require the specialist skills of their team at the scene of the accident or medical incident. Though GWAAC are part of the regional 999 response service and work closely with NHS hospitals, they are a charity entirely funded by local people just like you.
New arrangements for 2025/2026
In previous years, RAG have had nominated charities of the year in which all of their fundraising has been divided between those charities only. For the 2025-2026 academic year, RAG have made the decision to not have set charities of the year, but to engage with more charities across the community and raise awareness and funds for more wonderful cases within the Bath community.
For each event that RAG organise, they will choose a charity for the event as and when they happen. The charities chosen will be decided by the committee and RAG members based on their interests, passions and causes they research within the community. If you are a charitable organisation and would like to register your interest as one of the charities which RAG host an event for, then you can do so by requesting a form at su-fundraising@bath.ac.uk
