Beach Volleyball
We are one of the only uni campuses in the UK to boast beach volleyball courts! The STV has two beach volleyball courts used in the past by the GB teams.
Recreational
Over the summer, we take our recreational sessions to the beach, developing your volleyball skill set and giving you the ability to impress your mates during the holidays. We run tournaments to provide a more competitive atmosphere in beach rec sessions. There are also opportunities to compete in external tournaments at a similar level.
Competitive
We also have performance beach volleyball teams. These guys and girls train throughout the year, and then compete in the Championship, Trophy and Shield tournaments in the BUCS beach volleyball weekend in Sandbanks. Some of our pairs even use the facilities to train throughout the summer. If you are interested in beach volleyball, let us know, we can provide you with regular coaching and equipment.
Tour
Once a year we jet off somewhere sunny to forget about essays and exams for a week and focus on catching rays and making plays! Last year we were in Portugal and the year before we headed to Croatia so keep your eyes peeled for tour updates once you're in Bath. It's a week you won't want to miss...
