Taekwondo is a Korean striking martial art known for its powerful, high-speed kicks with an emphasis on training the body and mind.
Training Sessions
All of our sessions take place in the Sports Training Village (STV) Dojo. You can go to any of the sessions regardless of experience, everyone is welcome to all sessions, beginners and advanced.
At the start of term, we have taster sessions available to everyone. Feel free to wear your own dobok or martial arts uniform if you have one, otherwise loose, comfortable clothing is absolutely fine. We mostly wear dobok trousers and a sports top. Please bring a bottle of water to every session!
You can try out any sessions you like for a week without a Taekwondo membership; if you decide to continue training with us, you will need to purchase one. Once you're a member you can attend all the sessions you would like to. There is no need or expectation for you to attend every session, however some are recommeded if you are looking to grade or compete.
If you would like to attend competitions or gradings, you will need to purchase your own dobok, we will help you with this when the time comes.

The STV Dojo is on the bottom floor of the STV. Go down the stairs to reception, turn left after coming through the gates and it's at the end of the corridor of lockers.
