Weekly card games: Monday 7pm-9pm
Playing cards are one of the oldest forms of tabletop gaming known to humankind, it has been a fabulous way of building community together. Whether it's a fast game like Speed and Snap, or longer games like Hearts or Cribbage. playing cards offers a wide array of strategy, chance or social interaction games played around long-held friends and random people you've met on trains. Playing cards is a space to teach and learn games regardless of whether you've played for decades or never seen a 4 suit deck. We encourage anyone to take a seat have a yap and bond over some friendly (or unfriendly) competition. So, if you're looking for a great way to meet new people and have a blast, come check us out and deal yourself in!
Tabletop games at the end of the day are a way to build community and our goal in playing cards is to leave you with a set of games that are portable and fun so building that community becomes streamlined and easy. They are an incredible mechanism to sit and bond with people who may have nothing in common. So feel free to come down even if you're completely blind to playing card games.
