On arrival you will be given a cup token and a drinks voucher. You can exchange both the voucher and token at the Thatchers tent, where you will receive your cup filled with a free drink!

If you choose not to collect your free drink you can use your cup token to get your first cup at any of the other bars. Please note the drinks voucher is only redeemable at the Thatchers bar.

It is essential that you wear your wristband at all times as this will be checked at the entrance into different venues.

Please note that due to capacity restrictions your wristband does not guarantee admission to all venues.

Anybody without a wristband will be asked to leave the event.

Helpful Information

• The Summer Ball is a cashless event. Bars accept Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Apple Pay & Google Pay. Food vendors will also accept card payments.
• A First Aid point will be located in Area 5.
• Toilets are located in the following places:
  • Outside the University Hall on Level 1
  • The entrance to the Claverton Rooms on Level 2
  • The Plug & The Tub, the Student Centre (next to the Market)
  • The Lime Tree.
  • Temporary toilets will be positioned at the back of the Founders Hall and outside the Chancellors Building. 
• Gender neutral & accessible toilets are located in the University Hall building and The Plug.
• Lost property during the event will be taken to the Plug Bar.
