Come along to the biggest event of the year as we transform venues all over campus for the ultimate Summer Ball 2024.

Celebrate the end of the year and welcome in the summer with 3000 other students. With your favourite drink in hand, take a journey through campus surrounded by street performers, live acts and DJs. See the views in all their glory from the top of the Ferris wheel, and then explore campus to find that perfect photo opportunity.

So, get your black-tie attire at the ready and immerse yourself in an experience like no other.

Summer ball 2024 tickets Sold Out.

Students can purchase 1 student ticket or 1 student & 1 guest ticket. Guest tickets are for non-University of Bath Students only and can only be purchased by someone who has purchased/is purchasing a student ticket.

Please only buy tickets for yourselves and 1 other non-student guest, do not purchase tickets for other students.

Tickets are £49 + £1 for a reusable cup for students and £59 + £1 for a reusable cup for guests. Find out how your ticket money is spent.

As a Students’ Union we can get tax relief on some events for our members, which we do for the Summer Ball. Unfortunately, this does not apply to tickets sold to anyone who isn’t a student at Bath, and therefore the price is higher for guests as VAT applies.

Tickets will come in the form of wristbands.

Wristbands are on sale to all now! Last few remaining.

Re-usable cups

As part of the SU’s commitment towards sustainability, tickets for Summer Ball this year will include a £1 re-usable cup for you to use throughout the event. Here’s how it works:

  • On arrival your welcome drink will be served in a re-usable cup.
  • Cups can be exchanged for tokens during the event
  • The bar staff will swap your used cup or token for a fresh cup.
  • Don’t worry if you’ve gone from a double pint of Pimms to a Strawberry Daiquiri – bring any size cup to the bar and staff will swap you for the correct size cup.
  • If you lose your cup or token, you can buy a new one for £1 at the bar.
  • At the end of the night you can take your cup or token with you or donate it back to the SU.
  • Cups and Tokens are non refundable.

Our re-usable cups will save over 10,000 disposable cups at Summer Ball, and even more at future events.
