Let’s come together to recognise the hard work of the amazing SU Groups, for a night of celebration and entertainment at Komedia.

We are so proud and lucky to have such a talented and dedicated community of students at The SU. These awards are a chance to recognise our achievements and to put a spotlight on groups that are doing a particularly awesome job. There is so much to celebrate and be proud of and we can't wait to come together for a night of celebration and entertainment. 

Any SU affiliated group or student leader is eligible for these awards and we are delighted to announce the full shortlist for 2025! Click on each award on the right hand side to view the shortlist! 

The Event

The Awards will take place on Thursday 24 April at Komedia in Bath City Centre. The drinks reception will begin at 19:00 with the Awards starting at 20:00, everyone must be seated by 19:45. 

Tickets

Tickets for the main auditorium have now sold out but you can still purchase tickets to sit in the balcony.

Balcony ticket

  • The SU Awards are FREE to attend but you must book a ticket

  • Ticket holders will need to collect a wristband on the door to gain entry to the main auditorium. You will not need to collect this before the event.

  • The balcony area is accessed via a staircase. If you have accessibility needs for this event please contact supromotions@bath.ac.uk

FAQ's

  • What should I wear? The dress code for this event is smart/casual with a bit of glamour.
  • Is there food and drink at the event? No food will be served but there is a free drinks reception from 19:00 until the event begins at 19:45. You will not be able to collect a free drink if you arrive after this time. The bar will be open during the event.
  • Will there be photography at the event? Guests will be photographed during the event with updates going on instagram. If you do not wish to be photographed please notify a member of staff when you arrive at the event.
  • What happens if we win? Winners will be invited to come up onstage to collect their award. Guests who cannot come onstage or feel uncomfortable to come onstage can be photographed collecting their award at the photo point to the side of the stage. There will be a second photo opportunity for winners at the photobooth in the foyer immediately after the announcement.
  • Is the venue accessible? The main auditorium can be accessed via a ramp from the foyer. There will be a small ramp leading up to the photobooth area in the foyer. The Balcony is not accessible via lift or ramp.
  • Who chooses the winner? Winners are chosen by a panel of SU Staff and officers who read through all nominations. Winners are chosen based on the quality and impact of their work and not by how many nominations they received.
  • What time does it finish? The event is expected to finish by 10pm
  • Anything else? The event will include flashing lights and loud music.
