We get many enquiries about opportunities to join our Student clubs and want to highlight to anyone requesting further info who is not a student here at the University of Bath that our clubs are for registered University of Bath Students only, so therefore we are unable to offer our clubs to the wider community.

Wanting to buy some University of Surridge kit?

The online shop can be viewed on the Kit Section of the Su Sport Website. If you have any further club kit enquiries please email susportkit@bath.ac.uk

Wanting to activate your Sports Pass?

Your sports pass once activated allows you access to many of our sports facilities for free.

Activating your sports pass is quick, easy and free – simply bring your student library card to the Sports Training Village (STV) Reception.

Wanting to book a sports facility?

To book a facility using your sports pass for your own personal use or with a friend, then this can be done at either the STV or Founders Hall reception, alternatively you can dial 01225386339 (external) or 6339 (internal)

All clubs will have their allocated session times for the year, but if you’re looking for additional / one off sessions for your club then you will need your Chair or Treasurer to contact the Facilities team to arrange additional access.

We use Berkley's Coach Hire, of which you can find the booking procedure here

Needing an online product added to your clubs website?

Please complete this form and send it to subathsport@bath.ac.uk. We ask that you send it in at least 5 working days of when you would like to have it online.

Planning an Event/ISB Trip or Social?

To run certain events we require you to fill in an Event Planner which will help you to think about all the different aspects of your event including finances, contracts, venue/space booking and risk assessments. It also gives the SU more information on what you are doing which allows us to support you and will help you to ensure you put on the best event for your members. Please make sure this is all submitted within the time frames stated on the webpage below

Booking a venue that requires a contract to be signed, Please following the below steps

  1. Students must complete their internal event planner prior to booking any external venues, this includes

Risk Assessment for event
Venue informationActivity information
Health & Safety specific to the event

Budget form to include any quotes

Online product info for ticket sales

  1. A online product is then created to allow income to start coming into the club account to ensure the club can cover the costs by the quoted deadline
  1. The timeline for the event planner – takes between 8-10 weeks prior to event date is ideal.  4-6 weeks is workable.
  2. Contracts can only be signed by trustees of student union only  - this will take 2 weeks to get signed as only trustees of the student union can legally sign the contracts
