Weekly Riding Lessons
Lessons at Rein and Shine, Swindon are organised weekly for all Riding Club members. Rein and Shine caters for all abilities from complete beginners, to experienced riders who are looking to develop their dressage and jumping skills and progress to the competition teams in future years. Sign ups are posted weekly, with notifications on the Instagram page and WhatsApp group Chat, so make sure to follow us!
You do NOT need to have any riding experience to come and ride! Everyone needs to start somewhere, and our instructor is fantastic at making you feel comfortable while still developing your skills. Our beginner riders have progressed immensely throughout the year, with some even beginning to jump!
We are happy to provide the option of having a lesson on a top-of-the-range eventing simulator as well as the option to take the horses on hacks.
Before you are allowed to jump on one of the school horses you must first have a lesson on the eventing simulator, if you have any questions about this please get in touch with Olive (ys2507@bath.ac.uk).
Unfortunately, the venue does have a 76kg limit (including riding gear). However, this does not stop you from coming and having a lesson on the simulator.
