PAL Leader

PAL is a supportive and confidential space to focus on parts of the course that everyone struggles with and ask the questions you don’t want to ask your lecturer. 

PAL Leaders are students who have previously completed the year or unit PAL is linked to. They volunteer their time to plan and lead sessions, facilitate discussions and activities and support their peers. If you've attended a PAL session or have PAL on your course, you can become a PAL Leader!

PAL Leaders work in teams to plan and deliver weekly study sessions for students learning a language at University. You can use activities and resources to encourage students to practise using the language and learn about different cultures.

Exercise for Wellbing Buddies

The ‘Get Active’ scheme offers students, who want to use exercise to improve their wellbeing, the chance to try a variety of sports and exercise classes in a supported, small group environment.We're looking for enthusiastic, and motivated students, to become an Exercise for Wellbeing Buddy, to encourage students to become active, to support wellbeing through our innovative supported exercise programme.
