What Is Nightline?

Nightline is a confidental and non-judgemental listening service that is completley run by student volunteers, for students. Our aim is simple: to provide students a safe place to talk about anything at all, big or small.

At Bath Nightline, we have many volunteers to keep our service running from 8pm to 8am, every day of the semester answering calls and IMs. Additionally we have volunteers to help raise our profile so that every student is aware of, and has access to, confidential emotional peer support if needed.

Our Vision

We want every student in higher and further education to have access to the support offered by Nightline services so that:

  • Every student can talk about their feelings in a safe, non-judgmental environment
  • Fewer students have their education compromised by emotional difficulties
  • Fewer students die by suicide
