Student Volunteering Week took place from 12 to 18 February 2024 and gave students the opportunity to find out about the many benefits that volunteering brings. Volunteering is great for your wellbeing, gives brilliant CV boosting skills and does good for others in the community.

Here's a reminder of what went on, and how you can get involved in volunteering and fundraising going forwards...

MONDAY 12 FEBRUARY
Random Acts of Kindness Board
Acts of kindness were added to a giant chalk board in the SU to help create a domino effect of kindness on campus and beyond
Volunteering Pop Up
The SU Volunteering and Peer Support teams, as well as student groups RAG, V Team, Bath STAR, Marrow, Enactus & Nightline, were on hand at the School of Management to chat about how to get involved. Whether it be planting tree saplings, helping out at a local school, doing a beach clean, or supporting the Bath Half, there are many ways to gain skills and help others through volunteering.

Led by expert volunteer Repairers and supported by student volunteers. The next Repair Cafes take place on Tuesday 12th March and Tuesday 23rd April.
