Student leaders across the SU are already doing amazing things to help make our community more sustainable and we want to celebrate this with the launch of the Sustainability Award.

The Award is designed to help student leaders create sustainable events, activities, and campaigns, or to help them run campaigns to make positive changes in their department, across the University or further afield. All student leaders can get involved, including group committees, Academic Reps, Execs, Peer Mentors, PAL Leaders and Student Trainers.

Zoë Paumelle, Activities Officer is thrilled to see this scheme come together and said “The sustainability award is a fantastic way to do more for sustainability in a fun and rewarding way! Through this award, groups will be recognised for the amazing work they do all year round! I am so excited to see what the groups come up with!“

All student leaders can get involved with the sustainability award – individually or as a group. If you’re interested, you can register your interest here. Once registered, you have until 26 April to show us what you have been doing to be more sustainable as a student leader. This can be from any time this academic year.
