Motorsports is becoming increasingly popular among women around the world. As of September 2023, women make up over a third of our Instagram engagements and WhatsApp membership!
However, this interest has not always directly translated into attendance at our socials. From this year onwards, we are going to be offering women's social karting events to help bridge this gap and make our sport more accessible to women at the university.
Our aim is to help create a friendly space for women at the university to learn and experience motorsports, as well as to meet like-minded racing enthusiasts. As with all our social karting events, the events will be completely open to drivers of all skill levels, whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned kart racer like our vice-kart captain Stephanie:

All our women's karting events this year will be held at TeamSport Bristol, to and from which we will provide transport free of charge. All updates on women's karting events will be communicated through our Instagram and WhatsApp, links to which can be found on our Linktree.
