Formula One is becoming increasingly popular, in no small part owing to Netflix's Drive to Survive, and with that we have been expanding our F1-related events. For the 2023–24 academic year, we will be offering live TV screenings throughout the city, as well as bringing back our F1 Pub Quiz!
Our live TV screenings currently take place at the Canon in the city centre, and offer a perfect chance to meet and chat to fellow racing enthusiasts at the university, whilst getting to enjoy the sport we love on the big screen.
The F1 Pub Quiz will be taking place after select afternoon-to-evening races throughout this year, offering a challenge for people of all levels of wheel knowledge. Our most-recent pub quiz — after the 2022 São Paulo Grand Prix — saw over a third of the room walk away with a prize!
