Bath Academy welcomes teenagers from all over the world to study English on our Junior Group Programmes. These students are typically aged 12-17. This year the summer school will run from Monday 7 July – Saturday 2 August.
Overall Aim
- To ensure the welfare and enjoyment of junior students at Bath Academy
Key Responsibilities
- Organising and leading some evening activities
- Care of students in times between organised activities
- Accompanying students on excursions
- Airport transfers
- Monitoring students (e.g. at lunchtimes)
You Will Need
- DBS check (will be provided by Bath Academy)
- Lots of energy
- A friendly and upbeat personality
- Good communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- To enjoy working with international teenagers
Hopefully You Have Experience Or Qualifications In Some Of The Following
- Supervising teenagers
- Organising events
- Coaching sports
- First aid
Hours
To be agreed with the Social Programme Co-ordinator and/or the Director of Studies ELT
- This work is on a casual basis as we have different groups throughout the year who require afternoon/evening social programme supervision. We cannot offer fulltime/ regular hours on a weekly basis- we will be able to offer you lots of work when groups arrive but there may be a long wait in-between scheduled groups.
- This position would suit a University Student looking for experience working with groups of teenagers.
