Group Membership

Welcome to SU Groups! Student groups are run by students, for students and give us the opportunity to meet like-minded people, learn something new and have fun! There are lots of different membership options, meaning we have complete flexibility over what to join.

Our groups are split into categories: Sports, Societies, Volunteering, Media, Diversity & Support and Politics and Activism.

Sport membership: £20 Societies membership: £3 Media membership: £9. Volunteering, Diversity and Support, and Politics and Activism groups are completely free to join! All you need to do is sign up to the group directly.

We are so excited that you are thinking of joining one of our many student groups, before you click that all important membership button, we just wanted to draw your attention to a couple of important documents.

Our aim is that our members enjoy themselves, are respectful to others and understand there are consequences to actions.

The following documents outline behaviour that the SU and University will not tolerate and the sanctions that can be issued. They also show how you can submit a report of misconduct.
