Who are We?
Hello and Welcome to FoodSoc 2024/25!! FoodSoc believes that passion for food is everlasting, with great potential in forging valuable bonds within the student body. We aim to be the inclusive, main food community that all students can approach for food-related insights and food appreciation.
Activities and Socials
We organise regular cooking and baking sessions to offer members a chance to showcase and improve their culinary skills, where all levels are welcomed! Beyond these sessions, we also promote food appreciation by encouraging general food discussions in the community, signposting and reccomending food recipes or options, and casual food-related socials.
Our key / regular events:
- Recurring 2-hour culinary sessions & baking sessions
- Casual socials including picnics, potlucks, movie nights, etc.
- Regular bring your own bake events
- Cake and cookie decorating socials
- Cuisine-featuring sessions in general & for holidays
Other events:
- Food sale fundraisers / bake sales
- Great British Bake Off weekly screenings
- Annual cooking / baking competitions
- Potential collabs with other societies
