Interested in walking, climbing or orienteering? Join BUMC for a relaxed walk around the city, meet other like-minded postgrads, and discover some of Bath's best parks and green spaces. Absolutely no experience necessary!
The walk will start at Bath Spa train station at 10 am, and take in a variety of locations, including the Kennet and Avon Canal, Royal Victoria Park, and the 400 m long Devonshire Tunnel, an impressive walking and cycling route just a stone's throw from the city centre.
The route is predominantly paved and generally flat although there are some minor gradients throughout. Depending on walking speed, we expect to be out for about 3-3.5 hours.
Wear a sturdy pair of shoes, bring a bottle of water and a snack, plus a coat if it's wet. Absolutely no prior experience required so please do come along - we would love to meet you!
