Event: BUMC Slacklining

Tuesday 24 September 2024 at 11am - 1pm

Far End of the Lake (What3Words: sounds.encounter.shin)

Come and test you balance and meet some of the committee with some slacklining!

Slacklining involves trying to stand and walk along a piece of webbing suspended between two trees, it is a good test of balance and co-ordination! Even if you have never even heard of it before please do come along and give it a go who knows you may find you're a born slackliner!

There will be several members of the BUMC committee around at the event as well so it is also a great oppurtunity to come and say hi and ask any questions we're all happy to help! This session is open to all, not just freshers, 2nd years and post grads you are more than welcome to come along.

You don't need to bring anything although the slackline is suspended between trees so you may want some shoes you don't mind getting muddy if the ground is wet.

The location will be at the far end of the lake (What3Words location: sounds.encounter.shin). Otherwise, just look out for people in yellow committee T-shirts! Hope to see you there!
