Workshop on Increasing the Effectiveness of UK Aid

Join us on Monday, 14th October, from 6:15 PM in Chancellor's Building 4.10 for a workshop on shaping the future of the UK’s aid programme through a public consultation with the Independent Commission for Aid Impact (ICAI). No background knowledge is needed—everyone is welcome, and you don't have to be a UK citizen to participate!

This is a unique chance to get involved in policy advocacy, learn about the aid sector, and directly submit recommendations to influence future UK aid priorities. You can find more about the consultation here. We'll draw on insights from experts in global health and development to help frame impactful submissions.

This workshop is important because UK aid funding impacts millions of lives globally, and cuts to aid make it even more crucial that every pound spent is effective. By contributing to this consultation, you can help shape a more effective aid programme, ensuring resources reach those who need them most.

If you’re worried about time or expertise—don’t be! We'll guide you through each step, and it’ll be a relaxed setting where you can contribute as much or as little as you like. Even if you're just curious, we'd love to have you join. There’s no need to sign up, but if you’d like to join our WhatsApp or Instagram here it is! https://linktr.ee/eabath

Thanks for reading this far down. Hope to see you at 6:15 PM in Chancellor's Building 4.10
