Avon Valley Railway steam train trip on Sunday

Hello, we've put together some more details on our steam train trip this Sunday to help you plan.

Transport

Some of the committee members will be meeting at Bath Bus Station at 10:40 to get the 10:45 number 19 bus. This will get us to Bitton Cherry Garden Road at 11:09, which is about a 5 minute walk away from Bitton station. The bus fare isn't included in the event price, so you will have to pay this yourself. You're welcome to join, or make your own way there if you prefer.

Meeting

We'll be meeting at Bitton station at 11:20, in the Avon valley Railway cafe. We'll have a snack and catch up there before we board the train at 12:00.

The journey

The steam train will leave Bitton station at 12:00. Assuming you've bought the £6 event ticket from the SU website, your ticket is already paid for! The journey will be 55 minutes long:
