Socials
Socials are a huge part of ChaOS and a fantastic way to make new friends! They are a great way to get to know your fellow musicians outside rehearsals and meet new people from different ensembles, so please come along and make the most of them! ChaOS Ensembles often go to the SU after rehearsals to chat, relax, and perhaps have a drink (whether it be an alcoholic or not). After all, the more you get to know people within your ensemble and the society, the better you will play!
Any information on upcoming socials will be directed through various methods: ensemble managers, e-mail, Instagram, etc., so you will always be up-to-date!
Welcome Social 2024
Our first social of the year will be a pub trip! Information can be found on our Instagram and WhatsApp.
Fresher's Week
Fresher’s Week is the perfect opportunity to try new things and meet like-minded people. Come along to our Taster Day on Saturday, September 28th, and Sunday, September 29th, to experience the ensembles that we offer. There will also be a Welcome Social shortly following, aimed at all Freshers and returning students—a great way to get to know all of the people in ChaOS!
Pub & Club Nights
We like to have Pub and Club nights throughout the year. A ChaOS tradition is the Pub Golf social, which was awesome last year! We have also previously done a challenge-based social in town and ou le poulet. There’ll always be non-alcoholic options on all socials, so it is inclusive for everyone.
The Meals
Every year, we have a Christmas Meal and an End-of-Year Meal. These meals are great for relaxing and celebrating the end of the semester with friends.
