The classic Christmas tale of misery, woe, poverty and greed...Ebenezer Scrooge is a grasping, covetous old sinner with a very snappy catchphrase. Is there hope for this twisted old man? After a visitation from a very familiar - if dead - face, Scrooge is dragged unwillingly through the Christmasses of his past, present and future. Will he soften, or will he end his days miserable and alone? Adapted from the original Dickens' novel by our very own Mr Cochrane, this is not a show you'll be wanting to miss!!

The Miracle Worker
by William Gibson
Directed by Michelle Walder
Thursday 6th - Saturday 8th March 2014, 7.30pm
The Museum of Bath at Work, Julian Road, Bath
Imagine a world with no light. No sound. A world with nothing but the sensation of touch. Now imagine you are six years old. How scared would you be? Based on the true story of Helen Keller and her teacher Annie Sullivan, this play charts the enormous changes in Helen as she gradually learns how to contact the external world - not only does she learn to read, but also to speak, breaking down barriers thought by the rest of the world to be insurmountable. Time magazine lauded its "stunning new reality" and "overwhelming force", calling it a piece of "unforgettable theatre". This production will be linked to the Helen Keller Foundation.

A Woman of No Importance
by Oscar Wilde
Directed by Louise Heavey
Thursday 27th March- Saturday 1st April 2014
The Mission Theatre, Corn Street, Bath
Oscar Wilde's biting satire on the British upper classes is dragged screaming into the 20th century and a society on the brink of World War II. The rakish, highly scandalous Lord Illingworth has just employed a new secretary - the naiive, unworldly Gerald. But when Gerald's mother arrives on the scene, horrified by this turn of events, skeletons are cataputed out of closets. With tragedy, comedy, glamour, illegitimacy, infidelity, true love and an awful lot of sexual tension, Wilde's masterpiece is yet more proof of his deserving a reputation as one of the great playwrights of the last 150 years. And with his rip-roaring script updated with a shot of 30s glamour...think gorgeous clothes, a foot-tapping soundtrack, lines dripping with sarcasm, and accents worthy of David Niven, and you'll be almost in the right frame of mind!

Shakespeare's glorious romp through the enchanted woods of Greece! Lysander loves Hermia and Hermia loves Lysander. So far, so straightforward. But Demetrius also loves Hermia, even though Helena loves him and he used to love her...complicated enough, but when the fairy world of Titania and Oberon gets involved, the recipe is disaster and at least one person makes a bit of an ass of himself!
