Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a submission grappling based combat sport based on positionally controlling and submitting your opponent through chokeholds and joint locks.
We train in both the Gi (similar to judo) and NoGi (shorts and T-shirt) with a focus on ‘sport Jiu-Jitsu' that can applied in both BJJ competitions and self-defense scenarios.
This includes a wide range of techniques to develop a well-rounded BJJ game such as wrestling and judo for takedowns, guard passing, guard playing, sweeps, positional control and submissions.
Whether you are an experienced competitor or complete beginner, you can develop your technique and hone your confidence in sparring at our sessions in a sociable environment.
