The 2025 Blues Award applications window is closed, and the panel is selecting this year’s winners. All the award winners will receive an invite via email address to this year’s award ceremony on Wednesday 30th April 2025 at the world-famous Roman Baths and Pump Room.
Anyone unsuccessful will be notified via email.
A reminder about Blues awards and what they represent. For those of you just starting your university journey make sure you keep a record of your fixtures during your time here at Bath so when the time comes you are ready to complete the application.
The Blues Awards is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate all that sport has had to offer throughout the year at the University of Bath.
The Blues Awards ceremony is the annual celebration of student sport, organised by The SU Bath. Recipients receive certificates awarded by the University of Bath, providing evidence of dedication and ability to balance sporting commitments alongside their studies. Skills that are fondly looked upon by future employers.
The awards recognise outstanding performance and contribution to student sport here at Bath. We celebrate the sporting achievements of over a hundred and fifty students each year, recognising their hard work and dedication to their sport, club, and university.
Blues include accolades to recognise as many of our sporting population as possible so please do look at the awards on offer as many of you will meet the criteria outlined below and you should consider applying in future years.
NB. The criteria below is for the 2025 awards ceremony and is subject to change each year. New criteria will be published in January so come back and check this page out in the new year.

You are able to reapply next year and include any new information that meets the criteria.
Yes, you are able to apply next year as recent graduate. Graduates are eligible to apply the year after they graduate.
The date, time, and location where you will be able to collect your ticket will be included in the invite letter, we email to you.
You can, but when collecting the ticket, you will need to show us an email from the University account of the person you are collecting for, confirming that they are ok for you to pick up their ticket.
The awards are taking place on Wednesday 30th April 2025 at the Roman Baths and Pump Rooms
Only award winners and guests of award winners are able to attend the event. If you are part of a Club or team that have won an award you would be classed as an award winner so would be entitled to attend the event
Yes, after the awards have taken place, you will be able to collect your award from the SU Activities office, located on the 2nd floor of the Edge building from Monday – Friday, 10am – 4pm (excluding bank holidays)
We do not accept any applications after the deadline. You would have to wait until next year and apply in the nomination window
