When you become an Academic Rep, we want you to feel prepared and confident in representing students in your cohort. That's why we offer e-learning modules on key topics to give you the low-down on your role.
These training topics are mandatory in order to continue being an Academic Rep.
This module goes over the fundamentals of academic representation and how your role fits within it. We ask that all Reps complete this in order to be best prepared for their role.

We also offer an in-person consolidation session, which you can attend, where we go into more depth about the role while giving you the opportunity to ask questions, participate in collaborative activities and liaise with other new Reps.
This module goes over the importance of Rep meetings and how you can best influence policies and practices.

Academic Reps are considering student leaders of SU Bath and are therefore eligible for the Student Leader Development Programme. You can find more information about this here.

These training topics are small resources for topics that are not big enough to make full training out of.
If you feel like there is a topic we are currently not covering but you think would be useful, you can submit them by emailing su-voice@bath.ac.uk.We will look at how we will be able to fulfill this and assess whether demand for the training is there.
