Welcome to the Bath Killer Bees American Football Team!

What We Do

We are the American football team at the University of Bath, back-to-back South West Atlantic Conference Champions (2012/13, 2013/14), National Semi-Finalists 2012/13, and Southern Conference Champions 2022/23! This season we will be playing in the BUCS South Western Tier 1 division, fighting for promotion into the premiership.

Beginners are an integral part of our squad, who alongside our experienced returners, allow us to stay competitive and keep the team tradition alive. So don't worry if you have no experience in the sport; in fact, over 95% of the team joins with no experience, and we'll be sure to coach you up and make you the best player you can be!

What We Offer

We are a competitive BUCS team, looking to build on the strong effort put in over the last two seasons to retain our spot in Division 1 and push for a spot in the Premiership.
No experience is required! Our friendly coaching staff with their wealth of knowledge, alongside our experienced veterans, are always at hand to help new players.

All essential kit is provided by the club, including pads, helmets, and jerseys! All you need is a gum shield and boots.

This year, we'll be running three or four training sessions a week, meaning there's plenty of opportunity to improve your game and get to know the team.

Join a club with a diverse social offering including weekly showings of NFL Redzone at our sponsor pub The Canon, regular themed socials amongst the team and with other clubs, and annual headline events including our Thanksgiving Dinner, Superbowl viewing, and Awards Dinner. Whatever you're into, we have something for you, allowing us to maintain our strong tradition of being a close-knit and welcoming team.

Every week, we have access to the University's hydrotherapy suite, allowing you to relax whilst aiding your recovery.

We run a weekly strength & conditioning session with a qualified personal trainer to help you get into game shape.
