Who are we?

This year we are pleased to introduce the 93% Club Bath, a branch of the national charity! The 93% Club is the first and largest network of state-educated university students.

93% of secondary school students across the UK attend state schools. Yet, at the University of Bath, we account for just 70.84% of the intake.

7% of the population are privately educated. Yet. They account for 74% of Judges, 61% of Doctors and 51% of Journalists.

What are our aims?

We are a group of students with a mission to break down the divide between state and privately educated students, ensuring that we are not disadvantaged due to our educational background.

Our club aims to promote, enhance and up-skill our members, ultimately levelling the playing field for those from state educated backgrounds.

This year, we plan to:

  • Host regular socials to meet other like-minded students.
  • Provide networking and career relating events.
  • Collaborate with other clubs - including the founding Bristol club.

Membership is FREE! We hope you will join us in being #stateschoolproud xx
