HistArc is a brand-new society and the first student-run group to research and record the fascinating history of Bath and its university. We were founded on the 24th May 2024 under the name 'Bath Student Archiving Group' by a small group of amateur archivists on Discord. Our founding mission was to discover and preserve the history of all student societies. A month later, during our first committee meeting, the group was renamed to HistArc and a successful affiliation application was sent to the SU.
