Freshers’ Week Wristbands
The £35 FW24 Wristband is your exclusive pass to University of Bath's official Freshers' Week events. Here’s what you get:

Our legendary Arena nights offer a range of acts, entertainment and memorable moments. More details on what you can expect from the nights coming soon!
Free Entry: Inflatables, Silent Disco and The Big Pub event on Friday 27 September in the Arena.
Wristbands are limited and will sell out, so make sure you get yours early to avoid disappointment.
Key Details:
- Wristbands go on sale Monday 2 September.
- Wristbands will need to be collected on arrivals weekend. View the ‘What’s On’ for Wristband collection times.
- Free entry to Arena Nights is only guaranteed before 23:00.
- You can purchase a wristband before registering with the University. You just need to create a Guest Account; we will then merge your account once you have registered. If you have registered and have access to your single sign on, please do use this to login to the website to purchase your wristband.
- Wristband purchases are non-refundable. The only circumstance that wristbands will be refunded is if you purchase prior to registering with the University and then for any reason you are no longer planning to attend the University. However, in this circumstance, refunds must be claimed by Monday 16 September and we will go through a process with the University to double check.
Freshers’ Week T-Shirts
Show your hall pride with the official FW24 T-shirt, available in your halls colour.
A must have for every new fresher. Wear it for:
- ‘Show Your Colours’ Arena Night: Tuesday, September 24, the official launch of FW24. (This event is included within the FW24 Wristband)
- Interhall Sports Events: Throughout the year.

- PJ’s!

T-shirts are £10 each. Available to both wristband holders and non-wristband holders. Limited quantities and sizes, so purchase early to avoid disappointment.
2 Pint Collectable Cups
Every Freshers’ Kitchen needs a set of 2 Pint Cups, designed uniquely to Bath. There are three to choose from first come first served! Cups will be collected upon arrival!

Individual Event Tickets
As well as the Arena nights we have a whole host of events, many of which are free but some are ticketed! Visit the what’s on to find out what else in on offer!

Important Notice
As The SU, we are organising the only OFFICIAL Freshers' Week for University of Bath students but there are other organisations out there that are not affiliated with us that will put on their own Freshers' events. Please be advised that we are in no way affiliated with any of these companies and cannot vouch for safety or value for money at their events.
Here are a few tips to help you identify whether the events are organised by us or not:
- Are they selling tickets or wristbands already? If so, they are not affiliated with us as our wristbands do not go on sale until Monday 2 September.
- Only follow social media links and branding from our official website.
- Be mindful of the branding used. Are they using our logo or Freshers’ Week branding? If not, again, it is unlikely they are affiliated with us.
So please be vigilant when purchasing tickets/wristbands for events or taking on jobs through other Freshers' organisations. If you are in any doubt about whether or not an event, page, or post is associated with us, please do email us on: sumarketing@bath.ac.uk.
