Founders Hall: The Founders Hall hosts our FW favourites such as Inflatables, Freshers Fair and Mini Golf during the day. At night, it transforms into the Arena, complete with bars, stage and lights for you to party the night away.
P+T: The Plug and Tub is the Students' Union Bar and nightclub. In the daytime, it is a great place to relax, watch live sport, play pool, or grab a coffee with friends. In the evenings, it is Bath’s biggest nightclub with club nights on every Wednesday and Saturday during the semester! Head here during Freshers' Week to collect your wristband, party at the Silent Disco, or sample some cocktails.
The Student Centre: The Student Centre is a hub for student activity at the University. Here you’ll find Advice and Support services, our Freshers' Week information point, access to the bar and nightclub and numerous food outlets. There are many tables for you to come and just chill with friends in between events. During Freshers’ Week, The Student Centre also hosts the incredibly popular Pizza and Board games throughout the week.
The Edge: Host to a wide array of arts events, The Edge is used by many of our societies every week. Here you’ll find the music practice rooms, dance studio, theatre, and exhibition spaces. During Freshers' Week, the Edge will be the home to our Comedy Night, live music nights and other activities. These feature under the ‘Edge Events’ on the What’s on page.
CG: The Chancellors' Green is a large open grassy space outside Chancellors' Building, which will host an array of seating, and is used throughout the eveings during the Arena nights! Come by to taste some sports such as volleyball and slacklining during the week too!
Parade: The Parade runs through the centre of campus with the Lake and the library at either side in the middle. During Freshers' Week, the Parade hosts the SU Sports Day and SU Groups Day where loads of student sports clubs, societies, faith and cultural groups and more will be showcasing what they have to offer.
The Lake:A central and beautiful part of campus, the Lake hosts an amphitheatre and many, many ducks! During Freshers' Week, it is a great place to hang out (dependent on weather) and will host our returning Cycle Cinema on Sunday!
Arrivals Square:This is where you’ll find the buses to take you to town, and where you’ll arrive after going to explore the city. This is where you’ll see captains ready to take you on a city tour of the most important places in town to know about, including where to go for that all-important food shop!
