High Fliers Research is an independent market research company specialising in student and graduate research. In association with The Times, we produce The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers careers directory and website, and conduct the UK’s largest survey of final year students.

Leading graduate employers – including PwC, the BBC, Dyson, Magic Circle firms and the Civil Service – have a keen interest in the results, and your role plays a crucial part in this process.

In order to conduct our research, each year we recruit a campus ambassador at each of the UK’s 30 leading universities to coordinate market research and project management tasks. If you're looking for a role to make your CV stand out, this could be the one for you.

University Managers will conduct three research tasks on campus. This includes:?

Autumn Term –

  • Encourage students to sign up to our paid online job hunting surveys.
  • Orchestrate a series of focus groups over a two-week period.

Spring Term –

  • Recruit a team of student Interviewers for The Times Final Year Student Survey 2025
  • Organise a training session for your team; a member of the High Fliers team will help you to run this
  • Manage your Interviewer team and the data collection process at your university to ensure your team hits their target

All tasks will be fully completed by March 2025 – therefore final year exams will not be disrupted.??

The role will provide you with:

  • Competitive pay of £12 per hour plus bonuses
  • Flexible working hours (less than 20 per week)
  • Experience demonstrating invaluable transferable skills including recruitment, leadership, organisation and time management
  • An unrivalled insight into the graduate recruitment market

We're looking for:

  • A well-connected student involved in societies, clubs or sports teams
  • An outgoing, friendly and approachable nature
  • The discipline to work flexible hours around your studies
  • The drive to deliver high-quality results by set deadlines
  • Some leadership, management or organisational experience is desired but not essential. If you're keen to learn, we'd love to hear from you.
