Details

We are looking for people who have an interest in health and wellbeing promotion to help us deliver events and preventative strategies to students.

The role will be exciting and varied depending on the wellbeing project but will involve assisting in awareness events, health promotions, social media campaigns, student induction and more.

Our current ambassadors have been creating social media, supporting cooking lessons, welcoming new students to campus, running wellbeing stalls, gathering student feedback, supporting social groups, and facilitating wellbeing activities like dog walking and gardening.  The role is varied but you can expect to have the opportunity to do similar projects and much more.

There will also be more regular hours for Ambassadors supporting our weekly Social Networking Group (bath.ac.uk) for students experiencing loneliness or our eight week Social prescribing at Bath projects, which include Art for Wellbeing, Get Active and a nature based group called Green Minds.

Or if you are a social media whiz you might want to pick up regular hours guided by our communication staff to create student led content for our channels

You should be confident to lead activities independently but equally happy contributing to a team. There will be opportunities to input into the projects and help us be as creative as possible in engaging students.

Training will be provided.

Please note this role is for the 2024/25 academic year with a proposed September 2024 start date.

For more information, please read the job description.
